Pomegranate Launch, 11/05/25

Pomegranate will be running their launch event on Sunday 11th May @ 3 p.m. in St Michael's church,Framlingham. This will not only be a first event for Pomegranate, but also for the performers - Trio Asteri. This newly formed ensemble is made up of Grace Meadows on bassoon, Jayne Head on flute and the pianist, Sophie Riga de Spinoza. They will be performing a fantastic programme of work including the Farrenc Trio in E minor, 6 Pieces for Flute and Piano by Amirov, Sicilienne et Allegro Giocoso for Basson and Piano by Grovlez and Poulenc's Trois Pièces for Piano. Refreshments will be served at the end, and there will be a chance to enter into a prize raffle. Part of the proceeds from money raised will be donated to Saxmundham Primary School.
